About Working With Us
-
Can I call and ask questions?
At YHC, we’re an open book. We welcome calls at any time, and we never charge hourly fees for responding to your questions—even if they aren’t specifically finance-related! Ask us if you think your gardener is charging you a fair price, or if you want a second opinion about whether an email or phone call you received is a scam. We take pride in helping our clients achieve health and wealth in any way that we can.
-
Does YHC work with other professionals to reach my goals?
Partnering with YHC opens you up to a range of professional financial services. We work with CPAs, investment professionals, attorneys, and more, to ensure that you are given the right perspectives to move forward with a financial plan that works for you.
-
Am I under a contract with YHC for a locked period of time?
We like flexibility, and assume you do too. That’s why YHC doesn’t sign our clients up for minimum contractual periods. We’ll be happy to work with you for as long as we can add value to your finances.
-
How frequently do you meet face-to-face with clients?
We pride ourselves on being a “high-touch” wealth management service. Especially in the beginning of our relationship, YHC meets frequently with each client—typically 5 times in the first 90 days. On an ongoing basis, we tailor the number of face-to-face meetings and phone calls to the needs of each client, but it’s reasonable to expect to meet or talk at least 3 to 4 times per year at minimum.
-
Where are my investments and money held?
Investments and funds are held through Raymond James Financial.
-
What kind of return can I expect on my investments?
There are many factors that determine your investment performance, including your allocation and the return of the overall market. We’d need to have a conversation about your portfolio before we can predict the kind of long-term return you can expect.
-
How often do I receive statements?
You’ll get paper or electronic statements detailing account activity on a monthly basis.
