What is one new habit you developed during lockdown? What has changed in your routine?

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the virus and for humanity as we all face these times together.

Being in isolation and social distancing has inevitably led me to have a lot more alone time. The first week of quarantine my screen time definitely skyrocketed and the days were slowly beginning to blend together. I found myself looking at a screen all of the time. Whether it was a Zoom meeting, browsing the web, going down the Youtube vortex- all of it was involving a screen.

I quickly realized that I needed make some adjustments. A new habit I developed is to spend at least two hours of the day not on a screen. During non-screen periods, I have been watercolor painting, doing yoga, reading a book, going on walks, etc. Setting this boundary has definitely helped and I’m glad a positive change has come out from all of this. I hope everyone is doing what they can to stay sane. I cannot wait until we can be reunited again!
