Summer… my favorite season!

My sister and her family moved to Washington DC this year. This summer, we took my niece and nephew to visit the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, National Museum of Natural History and the National Air and Space Museum.

Every day there was filled with tourist adventures and the pool, but the Natural History Museum was everyone’s favorite. As the kids ran around pretending to be dinosaurs and lions, fun facts were provided for adults to learn. Did you know that Grizzly bears eat up to 90lbs of food each day!? In perspective, that’s like 360 quarter pounders!

Had a great time and I miss them already.
